EDU4Food: “Educating Youth Towards Sustainable, Healthy, and Equitable Food Systems”

The EDU4Food project is a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering sustainability competencies among youth and promoting a comprehensive understanding of the Farm to Fork Strategy. This European project emphasizes the creation of educational modules and innovative practices that align with sustainability goals, targeting young learners, youth workers, and participating staff. The project’s deliverables are designed to instill sustainable behaviors, such as resource-saving practices, energy conservation, waste reduction, carbon footprint offsetting, and the promotion of sustainable food production and consumption choices.

EDU4Food places a strong emphasis on individual behavioral changes, encouraging shifts in preferences, consumption habits, and lifestyles in line with the New European Bauhaus initiative. Additionally, the project aims to enhance the sustainability competencies of youth workers, empowering them to advocate for environmental sustainability within their respective institutions.
